Activities
Magboard #0111--"Little Mouse, Little Mouse"
Before kids arrive, hide mouse behind a house...then go through letting children pick a new color to see if mouse is hiding behind that house....have parents and children say, "Little mouse, little mouse, are you in the [color] house?" until they find the mouse...can play a coulple of times if they guess early on the right house.
"Hickory, Dickory, Dock" (w/mouse laminated mice and clocks, 10 of them) [located in puppet closet on hanging rack]
Songs
"Fee Fi Fo, Fee, Fi, Fum" (Robbert Bobbert and the Bubble Machine) w/shaky eggs
"Three Blind Mice" (sing a capella, have 10 mice dolls/puppets to pass out, repeat this song twice if not everyone gets a puppet the first time)
Snack (for 3 and under program)
mouse shaped cheese sandwiches CLICK THE LINK FOR A PICTURE
food needed per snack: 2 slices bread, 1 slice cheese, 6 small pretzel sticks, 1 gumdrop
assemble cheese sandwich, use heart shaped cookie cutter (or mouse if you have one) to cut out sandwich, place pretzel sticks as whiskers and gumdrop as nose, eat and enjoy!
Craft (for branch programs)
foam mouse/cheese on paper plate
Materials: foam (yellow, white, pink), glue sticks, scissors, crayons/markers, paper plates
